Probably Due To Network Congestion

So then….
I’ve been keeping track of my sales of stock images with a little spread sheet, working out the averages etc
Here’s my list of stock sites with the average payments per image sold:
averages.jpg
Its interesting to see how they perform against each other even if some of them have had very little sales, iStockphoto has been my longest running so takes the biggest slice of the pie below, followed by Shutterstock my shortest running!!
In 8 days Shutterstock made the same as iStockphoto made in 3 or 4 Months from starting submitting stock, though you have to realise that you’ll only ever get 25c per image from Shutterstock

Dreamstime, currently comes in 3rd place followed closely by Fotolia, then comes Stockxpert (the highest average payout per image!). CanStockPhoto and BigStockPhoto are crawling along behind. 🙂

Woooo! 🙂 Well I’m excited anyway! 😉

I’ve actually just figured out which variety this one is, I think its a Cayenne, from looking at the Pictures I found on Google and reading a couple of pages:

There’s some Interesting information on these two sites, and not fogetting http://www.homesteadcollective.org/mpg/index.shtml 🙂

OK, here’s a quicky set, just 6 brushes to stamp scratches over your images with, sharp edged so its best to have the image size smaller than the brush :p Available at Rapidshare.de to save my bandwidth limit. If you download these, please leave a comment to let me know, thanks 🙂

The Full size scratches images set are available at stockxpert 😉

I’ve culled the downloads though, so expect things to be un-available when you click, I’ve just left the smaller files sizes online… I’m going to have to look into hosting the files somewhere else or get some better featured hosting.

we’ll see, I’m not sure I can justify spending my own money on giving away free stuff!!!! 😐

oops! It seems since starting this Blog my Photoshop brushes have become a quite popular, so all the downloads are offline at the moment, I may have to buy some better hosted webspace with a few more features!
