Shiny π
Its a tad less quick than my old Peugeot 206 Gti, but I suppose the drop of 600ccΒ in engine capacity has something to do with it, more stirring of the gearbox is needed. But it looks a pretty well screwed together car with things in the right places and it was the right price. Also its cheaper road tax and cheaper to insure than the Pug… woo π
The British Prison Crisis

British prisons are full and we need more prisons it seems…! (My Arse!)
The simple answer to all this… is for Britain to have a ‘Prison Cull‘ and kill off all the total nasty scum that we working tax paying British are paying to keep. We Do not need more prisons, we need less prisoners, we need a fresh death penalty and for it to be used.
Why should I pay to feed, and keep, a criminal on a life sentence or other unworthy scum?
I, and indeed, we shouldn’t!
A life sentence for Murder and other crimes of that moral severity should mean DEATH, it shouldn’t mean that I get to pay my taxes to keep them for the rest of their lives (or until they get let out after half their pathetic sentence on good behaviour).
Britain is loosing the plot, too much political correctness and government money wasted on people and projects that don’t deserve it.
Simple = Bullet in the head!
The Cost = Price of a Bullet!
The government should have a referendum and ask the people, and do what the people say rather than ignoring the people and doing whatever the hell they like! And you wonder why no one trusts a politician! Ha! “Couldn’t organise a Piss up in a brewery” springs to mind!
I believe being British used to mean something…

Politically Correct Racism

This news artical was on the BBC news the other night, ‘Changing the face of Formula One’
I mean ‘wow!’ a ‘Black’ F1 driver… shock horror, whatever next…. MOBO awards?! ha ha!
I for one am sick of hearing stories like this, why does this country make a point of hailing a black F1 driver or award ceremony such as the MOBO’s, just because the colour of their skin is something other than white?
The F1 driver for instance, he’s quite obviously a human, all his bodily organs work the same, he lives his life a person of the human race and, lucky for him, he does a job which he enjoys.
So… where exactly does the importance about being black come from?
Good, Bad, Beautiful, Ugly, Rich, Poor, Straight, Gay…. we are all still human.
I am fed up with this, somewhat, self- segregationΒ that has probably formed due to the ‘Politically Correct’ society we live in. Its rather sad really.
The Urban Dictionary meaning for Politically Correct Racism
I’d like to see the word ‘Racism’ removed from common language, only to be used in extreme circumstances.
Tell me I’m wrong if you like, state your opinion, this is what I think and its my rant π

One of those weeks!

Ever have one of those weeks where you work non-stop all week at work? I don’t think I have ever had a week / month of my working life that has been as mad as this one!
Its mayhem at work, soooo much to do in not enough time. Yesterday evening I was just so knackered, today I actually didn’t get out of bed untill 9.15am today with is a long sleep in for me as I’m usually awake by 7am or something!
I feel the need to do nothing, just fanny about with bits and bats and not do anything that might mean using my brain, I don’t want to do anything that might require planning or has a deadline to it!
Next week is going to be just about as crazy too, maybe more so in a different way… Grrrr!
I mean! I’ve had my new camera for over a month now and hardly had time or the energy to play with it, so many fleeting photography idea’s that I want to try. I have a pile of stuff on my desk that needs setting up and shooting, even collected some conkers to take shots of but they are drying up now and have lost their shinniness π¦ (non-shinny conkers just don’t do it for me, even if they make me excited when I find them when fresh!)
Arrrggghhhhhh!!!!! (insert stressfull swear words here)

*note the little red flower, nice init!*
OneWebDay

Woo, well today 22nd September 2006 is apparently “OneWebDay” and seeing as its probably one of the biggest things to effect the lives of western civilisation for some time I thought i might add my thoughts too. There is also an artical at the BBC too.
I’ll write a list of things…
- Learning, Computer stuff in general, everything from making tweaks in the Windows registry to finding out where to download music π Not that I’d condone downloading it illegally, but you weren’t thinkng that anyway now were you!?! π I wouldn’t know all the things I do now without the internet.
Learning graphic design skills from tutorials and forums, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver… its all there for the taking.
Just lately its been Chilli Peppers, but there are loads of very helpfull and knoledgable people out there, like-minded and willing to help… I’ve probably bored everyone to death by now about Chilli Plants, Chilli Chocolate, Pickled Chillies!!! Bla bla bla!!! π ha ha π - Making friends, my first internet friend would be Janet from Australia she was the very first person I chatted to using ICQ, quite a random find but we have now met twice and spent some time together when she drove me down to the 12 Apostles and since then has become a very good friend. Easy to talk to, though i can be a man of few words sometimes, she’s a bit mad and can be hyper-zoom-whizz-hectic-happy-whoosh type of person. “Too Easy”.
Weird how the internet draws people together into genre’s, music people, aristic people, techie nerds, whatever, its all good.
Love, life, friendship, fun, sadness, sorrow… - Sharing, I think the internet was made to share, share information (that is what i seem to be doing on this blog!), sharing experiences, sharing music, programs, art, photography.
I believe the internet should be a sharing helping place, all too often it gets warped by peoples behaviours to others not knowing as much as they…
Online message boards and forums collect ‘Forum Trolls’ people who seem to always “Flame” the ‘Newbies’ for asking simple questions. Of course its not fair to tar all the message boards with the same brush as they are some of the most usefull and helpfull learning places you can go, you meet nice people who are willing to help. - Shopping, whooaaa!!! Yeah, buying online… what a great thing, ebay, Play, Amazon, Tesco, its good stuff saves you having to waste time walking around town only to find that the CD you wanted has to be ordered and will take two weeks!!! Ha! And why not sell your old stuff on ebay too, and as you’ll see from this very blog, I’m selling stock images, making a little, pays for the new camera which is totally great even if I’ll never be a millionaire π
- Travel, I did 6 months traveling through China, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Thailand, without the internet as a means of communication, banking, and research where would I have been? I’d probably not have got as far and not done half of the things I did do.
Travel research alone is fantastic, using the internet to learn about the places you’d like to visit and getting an idea of whats out there and how to cope in other countries in different environments, cultures and languages. Its all online, someone has ‘been there and done that’ all before so you get to draw on all that experience.
Booking flights and Hotels, hostels and trips… its all a peice of cake online! (though I must admit to actually telephoning the hotels I’ve booked nearer the time to confirm my bookings, nothing worse than arriving somewhere only to have nowhere to stay!).
I may add more later when I think of something π
This has been, and will hopefully continue to be ‘My Internet Experience’! You just have to blame the Zero’s and Ones π
