Bit of a lazy start to the day then for some reason the hop-stopper decided to block and required some ‘Spatulation’ with the plastic paddle.
Yeast Pitched, in the fridge at 20c. I’ll be dry hopping this with the same combo of hops after fermentation.

*20th Nov ’11 – Dry hopped with 10g Motueka, 10g NZ Cascade

*Bottled 27th Nov ’11 – with 71g of sugar, I’m drinking the last pint out of the bottling bucket as it tastes too good to throw away. Tastes smooth 🙂
Think it could have stood to be a bit more black, it might be a Trashy Brown!

As always, its really nice to find your work in print, but this find has put together a couple of my favourite hobbies.
I’m not actually a CAMRA member but I am a Real Ale drinker and Home Brewer, couple this with my interests in photography and design. The CAMRA ‘Beer’ magazine was passed onto me by one of the guys at work and I’d already flicked through it once and missed finding this shot of Spook the dog and a pint of beer, the shot has been downloaded 24 times at iStock and a handful of times at other stock sites.

It makes it better for my photography to be displayed in the well designed magazine that ‘Beer’ is, my compliments to the designer for a clean and tactile feeling read, the use of paper stock compliments the look nicely.

My first ‘On Demand’ sale at shutterstock looks promising at $2.48 for 1 sale, much better than the original subscription payout level I’m on of $0.33 per sale 🙂 Lets hope for more of these 🙂
Shutterstock could claw back some potential buyers that might have been defecting to istockphoto with this, and its going to keep the photographers happy too. 🙂
